Rosie O'Donnell claimed Antonella Barba being able to stay on the show for her racy pics while previous 'Idol' Frenchie Davis got the boot for porn pictures was weightist and racist.
Rosie O’Donnell is now taking on American Idol, and the show’s producer has responded. On The View today, Rosie said that FOX has denied the daytime ABC show the right to broadcast clips from Idol, and she says that’s because she criticized the talent competition. “We’re no longer given access to ‘American Idol’ (video) clips. They’re apparently mad at us … When I say ‘us,’ I really mean me,” Rosie said
Reaction to the photographs of Antonella Barba has led ousted season two contestant Frenchie Davis to ask for “a public apology” from the show’s producers about the way they treated her.
Frenchie, who was removed from the competition because she’d once worked for a pornographic web site, went on to work for Entertainment Tonight and act in a production of Dreamgirls.
